Update: Mud Slide on Old Glenn Highway

EMERGENCY OPERATIONS CENTER-- Four mud slides that swept the Old Glenn Highway were cleared by DOT at 5:30p.m. yesterday. Charlie Von Gunten, Butte Fire Chief, was on site and reported no damage to homes or trapped residents as a result of the slides. Displaced families are receiving assistance from the Red Cross. Please exercise caution when driving on the wet roads and be alert to changing road conditions.
