Three Borough Budget Public Hearings

The fiscal year 2018 budget for the Matanuska-Susitna Borough will be the subject of public testimony next week at three public hearings:

• Monday, April 24, 6 pm at the Menard Center in Wasilla, 1001 S. Clapp Street

• Tuesday, April 25, 6 pm in the Borough Assembly Chambers, 350 E. Dahlia Ave in Palmer

• Thursday, April 27, 6 pm in Willow, at mile 69 of the Parks Highway in the Willow Community Center

The proposed Borough budget will be posted online Friday.

An Ordinance Appropriating Monies From The Central Treasury For The Borough Operating Funds, Enterprise Funds, Education Operating Fund And Capital Funds, Establishing The Rate Of Levy For All Borough Functions For The Fiscal Year Beginning July 1, 2017 And Ending June 30, 2018 And Setting The Surcharge Rate For The Wireline And Wireless Enhanced 911 Systems For The Period Of July 1, 2017 Through June 30, 2018.
