Road update for Sept. 28

MAT-SU— Here is a MAT-SU road update. At one point 40 roads were closed, at last count, 8 roads were still under repair.

• Work is happening right now on Yoder Road, a giant culvert is going on, could be open on Monday
• Shirley Towne Bridge: Not expected to be repaired this year.
• Deneki Bridge: Open to foot traffic now, expected to be open to vehicle traffic on Thursday. Word is some goats with owner escort made it across. Uplifting.
• Kenny Blvd: Washed out area of road not expected to be repaired for two weeks. This means that anyone who lives on Kenny Blvd past the washout will not be able to drive in or out for a while yet due to the Shirley Towne Bridge not being repaired.

• Michelle Road is under repair now, expected to open early next week.
