Paving the road to Port Mac

Pavement now leads all the way to Port MacKenzie. The last segment was paved recently on nearly two miles of road. It's a $700,000 project underway by Pruhs Construction, funded by a State appropriation. The job begins near the Alutiiq manufacturing plant and continues down Don Young Road to the second gate at Port MacKenzie.
