Mayor's vetoes on Assembly agenda Oct. 18

MAT-SU— Four vetoes of ordinances and resolutions by Matanuska-Susitna Borough Mayor Larry DeVilbiss are on the Assembly agenda for Oct. 18. The vetoes involve: the Bogard Road extension project, the road for the Hatcher Pass Ski Area, an amended ordinance for road service areas, and an ordinance that seeks to prevent phone books from piling up in driveways.

Mayor DeVilbiss made the vetoes last Friday, Oct. 7. He later said he was willing to support the road to the ski area if a footprint for development of a ski lodge and residential housing were reserved.
