Marijuana Facility Standards Talk

State law already has rules for marijuana cultivation and retail facilities. What standards and permits will the Matanuska-Susitna Borough adopt for buffers, signage, parking, distance limits from schools, child care, playgrounds, parks and more? The Matanuska-Susitna Borough Assembly heard tonight an overview on options from Mat-Su Borough Development Services Manager Alex Strawn. Strawn has been working with the 17-member Marijuana Advisory Committee, created last year to advise the Assembly on the state law.
