Tomorrow, Nov. 19, H1N1 vaccines will be given at MAT-SU College from 3 p.m.-7p.m.
Access the main entry of the college off mile 2 Trunk Road.
The clinic is for priority groups: pregnant women; youth ages 6 months to 24 years; healthcare/medical workers; caregivers for children under six months; and people aged 25-64 with higher risk of complications from the flu.
The School District is holding another clinic for students this Saturday, Nov. 21, 11-3 p.m. at Colony High. The clinic last week provided a reported 620 vaccines. (An earlier report of 1,200 vaccines was incorrect.)
The Borough is expecting to hold a vaccine clinic Dec. 17 at the Menard Sports Center. Planning has begun for a small clinic in Willow and a clinic in Talkeetna.
Local health care providers likely also have the H1N1 vaccine.
