Caswell Lakes Road closure, detour

Due to wet conditions, Borough Public Works had to close a 2.2 mile section of Caswell Lakes Road—from Amundsen Ave. to Hidden Hills Road—possibly for a week.
A heavy frost is holding water on the surface. Driving on it is leading to road failure. This is the third year in a row that Public Works had to close this road, says the road superintendent.
Closure and detour signs are up. Residents can drive on Hidden Hills Road to reach homes. This road is one of the many road projects approved by voters for rebuilding and paving.
