Ballots Counted Monday

The absentee and questioned ballots from the Oct. 6 Matanuska-Susitna Borough election will be counted on Monday by a two-person Review Board. The results will be posted online Monday. The Canvass Board will present the results for certification to the Assembly at 5 pm on Tues. Oct. 20 in the Assembly Chambers at 350 E. Dahlia Ave. in Palmer.

The 5-person Canvass Board has been canvassing or verifying for eligibility more than 2,000 ballots since the day after the election. The Canvass Board continues its work through Saturday.
